Information, without the guesswork.
This page describes the data paths behind Meralviko's controls.
The lock does not report its turns
Positions, move history and hint calculations run inside the open page. No account is created and no play history is sent to a server. Leaving the page loses the current lock.
We do not add analytics trackers, advertising tags, remote font services or social embeds. Hosting software can still produce routine request logs as part of delivering the site.
Correspondence is a separate operation
If you submit the contact form, the application records the supplied name, email, topic and message, together with your consent, a generated receipt and the time received. The purpose is to review the issue you raised and handle related correspondence.
Successful records are appended to a file belonging to this site. They remain until reviewed and deleted by the operator; no automated retention schedule is implemented. No mailing service is connected to this form.
Local choices and a form cookie
A storage decision may be retained in your browser for 180 days. With optional permission, the motion setting can be remembered too. These values do not include contact details or lock states.
The contact endpoint issues a one-hour security cookie to validate a later submission. It is required for that form flow and is distinct from optional display storage.
Request a change
Send a Privacy request from the contact page to ask about access, correction or deletion of a message. Identify the receipt or the email originally used. Avoid attaching or describing identity documents, passwords and card details.
